Busy making preserves and jams

This is what i have been upto the last couple of months.

Thanks to my friend Amanda i have been making chutneys,jams and i have also attempted to pickle things.

I have jams like....strawberry, mixed fruit, damson, plum, bramble

Chutneys are mediteranean, peach, banana, apple, spicy apple, beetroot, mango, pear..the list goes on

I have also pickled home grown cucumbers and beetroot. I also attemped to pickle eggs for xmas and some yellow peppers

So nice not having to but it all i just have to go through to my little cupboard and get them.

Can you guess what everyone is getting for christmas...lol

I have done hampers for my parents and friends..which i wil also add sweets, shortbread, oatcakes and crackers and possible some cheese too to go with the chutneys and jams.

I found these medallion decoupages already made up in a lovely shop in forfar so i just matted and layered the back grounds and added peel offs and happy birthday tags
now i have finished doing my xmas cards i will get back to making some more birthday cards

new tattoo

Well i went for another tattoo today...

Went for a yellow rose but came out with another butterfly in lilac, blue and white.Wasn't too sore just scratchy and nippy

What do you think? Im having a green dragonfly the next time i go

first attempt at necklaces

This is my first attempt at making necklaces with beads.........the black ones are lava beads and so unusual

bookatrix for a 100 year old

i have done a bookatrix for a friend for a 100 year old who likes flowers.

Do you think she will like it?

I decorated the box also just to make it special, i mean its not alot of people who reach 100 years.

and more bracelets....ive one for most days now

lol i am having so much fun and i will have a bracelets for every day of the week now.

I am really enjoying making bracelets at the moment....though i think the pink one will be mine again as i do like pink
