Hubby has had his ops

Ally has had his ops...one to wash out his tummy and the other to remove his brain shunt from his brain. They are leaving teh shunt out to see if he can manage without it.....heres hoping
Unfortunately being so far away i havent seen him otday but i will go up on saturday with the kids to see him.

Hubbys still poorly

What a rubbish day i have had today

My pc went crash and wont do a thing after downloading a windows update!

So i need to sort out a new pc as i needed a new one rather than fix it again....just dont have the time to go out and buy one so im using my old one....at least i have a pc to use.

Hubby is still not good...his temperature is spiking all over the place and he still has tummy pains...so he was rushed to hospital on saturday night by ambulance...gave the neighbours something to gossip about..lol



Today he got a ct scan and it showed he has inflammation in his tummy.

They think that his brain shunt is rubbing against his tummy and making it sore they also think the shunt may be infected.

They think it may have been infected the first time too....

So they are going to operate on friday and insert a camera into his tummy to see what is going on in there. Then they are going to wash out his tummy and give it a good clean.
If they think it is an infected shunt they are going to remove it by cutting him behind his ear and taking it out. They will attempt to see if he can live without a shunt....scarey as last time he only got to 2 days without it.

If he cant live without one they will insert a new one and hopefully it will be ok...third time lucky maybe

After all that he is being pumped full of antibiotics... so fingers crossed all goes well and he is painfree after they sort him out tomorrow...hes had 6 weeks of pain now

So i made hima lovely pink cake with pink cream and icing...he loved it...lol

spiral bracelet

Thank you goes to kim who gave me the pattern to make my first spiral bracelet....the first of many i think

I made it into a nice little bracelet probably for myself to wear as i love pink...will have to make a few more in different colours i think....after i make the matching necklace ...lol

I've been busy beading again

I am so stressed just now i spent the whole day beading while watching my ill hubby.

It started as just going to make one then it ran into 4....lol

This one is in rainbow yellow and the pic doesnt do the colour good at all.

Here are the finished colours ...turquoise, yellow, black and transparent green. I think they look good in all the colours but i think the blue and yellow are my favourites

pink lace necklace

I'm on a roll this week...lol

Sitting fed up of the xmas tv i thought i would make a nice pink lace necklace. I have also made this in gold which i gave to my friend mary for new year...she was well chuffed with it...lol

green lace necklace

Well yesterday i got some time to make another necklace its just a simple lace necklace but is lovely and im trying to try out all the colours of seed beads i have so thought i would try a green necklace for a change with 4mm crystals.

It turned out nice...sorry about the pics i hate my digital camera and i have promised myself a new slr camera later on in the year as my saving tin is coming along nicely..lol
