First attempt at pickling anything this year and this is my latest attempt.
6lbs of pickled onions ready in time for christmas...yummmm
Took ages peeling the little shallots but they looks good they better taste good after all this...lol

good grief you must have some patience peeling that lot did it not make your eyes hurt. well done
My Mum used to do this when we were kids and it used to take her forever. Tasted yummy though - you're in for a treat for sure :)Well done on peeling all those - I struggle with one!
My DH adores home done pickled onions, but they are so time consuming to peel and he eats them so quickly. Well done for having the patience.
